SONG NOTES:
Invocation was played on a minstrel, fretless banjo.

Larry Brown is a Southern writer. Ive been reading a few of his books, and realized after I had written this song that it was largely influenced by him.

Wonderful World started with the idea of poems having drug-like effects.

Dukes Ballad-- a 52-weeker..recorded on the back porch. Still not sure what type of bird that was, but it sang with me throughout.

Dont Care where you been-- played on a three-string cigarbox guitar, made by Darren Brown of Nova Scotia. feeling it.

Aint we got love- an older song of mine, new recording. This one helps me remember why I do what I do.

Where you been so long-- a long year of feeling outside and wanting to talk to friends, but not being able to communicate.

Cracks-- I started going on photo walks in the city. This little ditty came to me during one of those walks. Played on the Suzie Guitar.

Dirty coffee cup-- just having fun. this one makes me laugh.

FIrst I found-- another 52 week club song-- about where i grew up, and the impression of that time and place. Swimming in rivers under a moon.
